CONCEPT

Initially, this project explored boundaries in the context of immigration and how fear of that which we don't understand can have explosive consequences.  The collages explore the demonization of difference, and then what brings us together and what divides us.  The painting evolved from these ideas into a depiction of healthy and dysfunctional personal boundaries.
